Partitur + Stimmen
Spieldauer:4'15"
This is a standard by Hoagy Carmichael from 1930, and later played by many artists, notably Ray Charles recorded in 1960. It was chosen as "state song" in the state of Georgia in the US, but the lyrics is so ambious that one can not be sure if it's about the state or a woman by the same name. The conductor must make sure that the soloist is allways easy to hear, thin out if needed. The soloist is given great liberty to form the meldody both rytmically and melodic, play the impro section ad. lib.
